We engaged with the San Mei On community in two ways:

First, through spatial intervention: we created modular pine furniture and lighting installations to transform the aging residential units into an open “community living room.”

Second, through visual storytelling: the work *Watching the Sea at San Mei On* (featuring artist Tang Tang) combines animation and text to reconstruct the memories of long-time residents regarding the shifting coastline. The physical wooden structures respond to current needs, while the fluid imagery traces vanishing landscapes; the two intertextually explore the symbiotic relationship between people and architecture.
