Duration: 2025/04 - 2025/06 Location: Unit 107B, Building 1, Nanhai Yiku, 6 Xinghua Road, Nanshan District, Shenzhen
This is our team’s first commercial design project and our first attempt to put the philosophy of “designing for the real world” into practice. It’s tucked away in Nanhai Yiku, a semi-open community corner. Coffee and drinks are served all day, and limited-edition themed events take place monthly.
For a team that has primarily focused on exhibitions, this was no small challenge: aesthetics, functionality, comfort, stability, creativity, and public appeal—each aspect required a delicate balance.
The space was designed by JSND Architecture. The extensive use of negative space, minimalism, and restraint creates room for the Finnish pine furniture to shine. Here, most pieces can be freely combined and moved around—sometimes serving as tables, other times as stools. It’s been over a month since the opening, and every visit feels like unlocking a new map. The space transforms and comes alive in the hands of customers, like a free-spirited playground where everyone can create their own way of playing.
If you’re passing by, why not pop in for a visit?
